Apple hardware support -- again impressive I finally made it around to an Apple Store to see if they could fix my crappy trackpad on my MacBook [evil (R) 2008]. Within hours, they replaced my defective trackpad with the extra they not so surprisingly had on hand. The MacBook trackpad is [I believe, since I've seen a good number of reports of it going out exactly as it did on mine] still screwy and poorly designed. That said, at least during the time I have Apple Care on the computer, I don't appear to be much worse than a business day away from getting it fixed.
