Network Associates Inc. Another "good to know". I didn't think I'd done anything other than install a few reputable apps that would have exposed my work machine to a virus. But then, all you need is one open mail relay and you can make an email to anyone from anyone. As I've quoted here before, most SMTP servers are so "helpful" that all you have to do is telnet in and say "HELP" to figure out how they work. Anyhow, here's the good to know part: Note: Receiving an email alert stating that the virus came from your email address is not an indication that you are infected as the virus often forges the from address.
