I'm not sure why I feel this way, but it does. It seems to present errors in an easy, human-readable fashion, and its ability to jump into code is awesome. The way it reloads from scratch when you reload a page is also nice. I'm partial to having it in its own window, but it's nice. It's like a built-in, well polished Venkman.
